A joyful and elegant wedding day featuring a blue a periwinkle flower color palette at Armour House in Lake Forest, IL.
When Rachel & Matthew reached out about their wedding date at Armour House, I immediately knew how excited I was to work with them. Rachel’s color palette made her a unique bride because she didn’t stray away from color one little bit.
Traditionally, I’m a pink girl. If you’re around here much, you know that I tend to go for blushy-peachy-pink tones. And I even had a bit of a spicy take on our Pantone color of the year, Very Peri. So, bringing Rachel’s periwinkle-filled vision to life was a fun step outside my comfort zone. That, paired with the beautiful springtime blooms made these wedding florals a look I won’t ever forget.
I also was giddy about this day because it meant the return of working with Rachael and Lauren from Rachael Kazmier Photography. Rachael is one of my FAVORITE vendors in all of Chicagoland!
