| 1. Keep them out of direct sunlight. This might seem like a surprise to you because flowers LOVE sunshine. But the sun will actually speed up the life of your flowers, so to make them last extra long, make sure they are tucked away from the sun. 2. Let your flower babies live in cool water! The reason florists keep flowers in coolers is that it slows their life and keeps them nice and fresh. While you might not have a floral cooler in your garage (because you’re normal), a nice vase of cool water will do the trick. 3. And finally, make sure you’re giving your flowers a sharp, clean trim every couple of days. This will make sure they’re able to drink the H2O goodness they need for a healthy life! |
