How Shannon & Alan’s Stunning Florals Turned Their Ivy Room Wedding Into a Garden Wonderland (You’ll Love the Hanging Installation!)

Welcome floral, friends!

I am beyond excited to share the beautiful details of Shannon & Alan’s wedding day at The Ivy Room. Their celebration was nothing short of magical, filled with lush, garden-inspired florals that perfectly encapsulated their vision. As a florist who loves creating light and airy designs, this wedding was a dream come true!

Shannon told me she wanted the day to feel straight out of a fairytale (fairy lights included and all!) Here were some of my favorite details from the day:

A Show-Stopping Hanging Installation

One of my favorite elements of their wedding was the large-scale hanging installation that hovered gracefully over the dance floor. Imagine dancing the night away under a canopy of flowers! The installation featured an array of greenery, roses, and hygrangeas, creating a whimsical and romantic atmosphere. We even added in Shannon’s fairy lights so that it twinkled all night. It was the perfect centerpiece that drew everyone’s eyes upward, adding a sense of enchantment to the evening.

The Perfect Garden-Inspired Bouquet

Shannon’s bouquet was a bouncy, garden-inspired masterpiece. We used ranunculus, garden roses, and spirea to create a lush and textured look that felt both organic and refined. The bouquet was a true reflection of Shannon’s vibrant personality and love for nature. It complemented her bridal look beautifully and added a touch of romance to every photo.

A Sweetheart Table to Remember

Their sweetheart table was another highlight of the day. Nestled inside a stunning floral arch with grounded floral moments, it sat just behind the hanging installation, creating a cohesive and breathtaking visual. The floral arch framed Shannon and Alan perfectly, making their intimate moments during the reception feel even more special.
