How sage greens, rambling greenery, and romantic whites turned Scott & Elizabeth’s July wedding into pure floral magic

Scott & Elizabeth’s Wedding Day

I’m over the moon to share this beautiful story of Scott and Elizabeth’s July wedding at the stunning Armour House in Lake Forest, IL. When they reached out, their vision was clear: clean, classic, and effortlessly timeless. They fell in love with a palette of sage greens and crisp whites, paired with romantic blooms like garden roses, ranunculus, and sweet pea. It was everything I adore — and more!

The Palette & Flowers

  • Color story: soft sage meets bright white — understated elegance.
  • Key blooms: lush garden roses, whimsical ranunculus, and ethereal sweet pea for that light, airy vibe.

Together, we curated designs that felt garden-picked but polished — each bouquet and installation offered that refined, high-end look our ideal clients crave.

Noteworthy Details

  • Staircase installation: climbing smilax greenery tumbled down the staircase, creating an organic arch for their walk down the aisle. It was pure magic.
  • Fountain installation: the fountain overflowed with rambling greenery — think lush vines spilling over stone, like nature had crafted it just for them. It was one of my favorite moments!

Why It’s So Special

What I love most? It never felt staged. Every floral piece — whether adorning architecture or framing the couple—felt natural, romantic, and completely them. It’s a perfect inspiration board for any couple dreaming of high-end, garden-inspired wedding florals in Chicago or destination venues.

FOR COUPLES: If you imagine yourself surrounded by soft, romantic flowers in a light, airy palette — whether in Chicago or abroad — Scott and Elizabeth’s day proves that simplicity can be breathtaking.
