A mid-October celebration where baby’s breath clouds and white roses transformed Providence Vineyard into a dream of effortless elegance.
Emily and Joseph (or Joey, as everyone lovingly called him) dreamed of a day that felt simple, clean, and timeless. When we first started designing together, they shared that they wanted the flowers to feel effortless yet elevated—a reflection of their love story: warm, genuine, and full of grace.
The Vision: Simple, Clean, & Classy
Their design aesthetic centered around one guiding word: Classic. From the start, Emily’s vision was clear—lush white roses paired with airy clouds of baby’s breath, creating a sense of lightness that perfectly mirrored the peaceful vineyard backdrop.
Her bridal bouquet was a full yet graceful collection of all-white garden blooms: roses, lisianthus, and soft sprigs of baby’s breath, tied together with trailing silk ribbon. Each stem was chosen intentionally, building texture without overwhelming the design—a true study in restraint and refinement.
The Reception: Candlelight & Connection
Inside the reception space, simplicity met luxury. White candles lined each table—pillars, tapers, and votives—casting a romantic glow that danced off the glassware and gold details. We brought in smilax greenery to bridge the tone between the vineyard outside and the cozy ambiance indoors.
The tables featured three distinct looks, each playing with scale and texture:
- Floating clouds of baby’s breath and roses surrounded by taper candles.
- Clusters of pillar candles and delicate bud vases, creating soft, layered dimension.
- Petite floral groupings accented with votive candlelight, perfect for intimate guest tables.
Every detail was designed to highlight connection—the kind that happens over candlelight, laughter, and shared joy.

A Celebration of Love, Not Just Design
What I loved most about Emily and Joey’s day was how it truly reflected them. It wasn’t about over-the-top florals or grand gestures; it was about creating beauty that supported their story. From the quiet joy of their first look to the way they held hands during toasts, this day was filled with authenticity and intention.
For Planners
Look for a florist who can provide both florals and candle rentals to ensure a cohesive, streamlined design process (and one less vendor to coordinate on wedding day!). Collaborate early on the layout to balance floral density with open space, leaving room for the light to do its magic.
For Couples
If you’re dreaming of recreating this simple yet luxurious aesthetic, ask your florist about incorporating mixed baby’s breath varieties for cloud-like texture and white roses such as Playa Blanca for that perfect, timeless bloom.
Pairing a neutral floral palette with layers of candlelight will always feel elevated and romantic. Don’t be afraid to keep it simple—when every element is chosen intentionally, the overall design feels cohesive and serene.
