A 1:1 time of mentoring with Chicago Florist Splendor of Eden, Bri Plederer featuring a springy array of fresh florals and editorial style shoot.

Earlier this Spring I had the amazing opportunity to take a one-on-one mentoring session with someone whose work I adore and whom I so, so look up to! Brie, owner of Splendor of Eden, opened up her home and her business philosophies to me and we spent a whole day creating, surrounded by pretty spring blooms. The day was full of JohnnySwim songs, bright antique white walls, flowy silk ribbon, and joyous giggles.

I’ve admired Brie and her business from afar for several years now. Her unique design style has always caught my eye and I have been so inspired by her work. It’s worth saying that if there’s something that you want to learn more about or someone who inspires you… reach out! Let them know, ask them to teach you! You’ll never regret learning from those whose art speaks to your soul. I learned so much from Brie about design, business, and creating unique pieces of art. I’m forever grateful for her wisdom and the team of creatives who came together for the day.

See just a taste of what our day was like with these photos…
