How a Neutral Palette with Bold Pops of Color Transformed This Sarabande Wedding into a Dreamy Garden Escape

Hi floral, friends!

Today, I’m so excited to share a recent wedding with you. Sarah and Zane’s wedding at Sarabande Chicago was nothing short of magical — From the moment we began planning, it was clear that they wanted a day filled with understated elegance, natural beauty, and personal touches that would leave a lasting impression on their guests. Annndd I think we did just that!

Here are a few of my favorite details from the day…

A Color Palette That Speaks Volumes

The color palette Sarah and Zane chose was primarily neutral, with whites that exuded sophistication. But what made their day truly special were the unexpected pops of pink and orange hues. These vibrant colors brought a joyful energy to the wedding and made every floral arrangement stand out.

Bud Vases: A Simple Yet Stunning Detail

One of my favorite elements of their wedding was the use of bud vases on the guest tables. These delicate vases added a touch of charm and intimacy to the reception. What made this detail even more special was that the bud vases doubled as favors for the guests to take home. It was such a thoughtful way to share a piece of the day with their loved ones!

Lush Aisle Arrangements Fit for a Garden Romance

The aisle arrangements were another highlight of Sarah and Zane’s wedding. We created lush, garden-inspired designs that framed the aisle beautifully, using a mix of romantic blooms and greenery. These arrangements not only set the stage for Sarah’s walk down the aisle but also added a natural, organic feel to the entire ceremony space. Talk about a wow-factor!

  2. Choose a Versatile Color Palette: A neutral base with bold accents can be a great way to create a timeless look while still showcasing your unique style. Consider using pops of color in your floral arrangements to add depth and interest.
