Is there anything more romantic than blending timeless floral elements with a modern twist? Isabella and John’s wedding at Café Brauer in Chicago was a masterclass in how to create a wedding design that feels both classic and uniquely personal.
Let’s set the scene: Café Brauer is a Chicago gem, and its historic charm made the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love and beauty. From the moment I met Isabella and John, I knew their vision was going to be a dream to bring to life. They wanted a wedding that would stand the test of time, but they also weren’t afraid to embrace creative details that reflected their personalities.
The Florals
The star of the show was the all-greenery and white floral design—a timeless palette elevated with playful, airy touches. Think lush white roses paired with delicate sprigs of baby’s breath, creating layers of texture and elegance.
One of my favorite design moments was the ceremony backdrop. We adorned a chic, black rounded arch with a cascade of greenery and white florals. It created a striking yet soft focal point as Isabella and John said, “I do.”
For the reception, the head table was all about understated impact. Single white rose bud vases paired with glowing votives stretched in a long, elegant line. This design not only looked incredible but also stayed budget-friendly—proof that you don’t have to sacrifice style for savings.
