Discover the Romantic Details and Tips for Planning Your Perfect Chicago Wedding

Hi friends,

I’m thrilled to share the story of Hayden & Joe’s wedding day at the beautiful Providence Vineyard. As a florist specializing in light and airy, garden-inspired designs, this wedding was a dream come true for me and my team. I hope this glimpse into their day inspires you as you plan your own special celebration!

This day will live in my mind rent free & here’s why…

The Inspiration:

Hayden’s wedding dress was the starting point for her color palette. It had a timeless elegance that perfectly complemented the soft, romantic tones she envisioned for her wedding day. We incorporated mauve tones alongside classic blush neutrals and lush greenery, creating a stunning, cohesive look throughout the floral design. Garden roses, ranunculus, and locally grown lisianthus added layers of texture and beauty to the arrangements!

Favorite Elements:

  1. Mauve Tones and Blush Neutrals: The combination of these colors brought a soft, romantic vibe to the wedding. The addition of mauve tones in the florals and candles added depth and warmth, making everything feel cohesive and intentional.
  2. Yummi Candles: We used “Hint of Mauve” and “Desert Rose” candles from Yummi candles to enhance the ambiance. These candles not only matched the color scheme perfectly but also added a touch of elegance to the table settings.
  3. The Venue: Providence Vineyard provided a light and airy backdrop that complemented our garden-inspired floral designs beautifully. The open space allowed the florals to stand out, creating a dreamy atmosphere for the celebration.
  4. Statement Floral Piece: One of the highlights was the grounded floral nest we created. This statement piece was a focal point and added a unique, whimsical touch to the ceremony decor.

Here’s a peek of the day from the incredibly talented Elle Taylor Photogrphay:

Planning your own wedding? Here are some considerations…

  1. Choose a Color Palette Early: Your color palette will guide many of your design decisions, from florals to linens. Start with an inspiration piece, like a dress or a favorite flower, and build from there.
  2. Incorporate Personal Touches: Whether it’s custom candles or locally grown flowers, personalizing your wedding details can make your day feel uniquely yours.
  3. Work with Your Venue’s Aesthetic: Select a venue that complements your vision. Providence Vineyard’s airy and natural beauty was the perfect canvas for our garden-inspired designs.
  4. Focus on Key Statement Pieces: Invest in a few standout elements, like a statement floral piece, to create a memorable impact without overwhelming your budget.

Hayden & Joe’s wedding was a celebration of love, filled with beautiful moments and thoughtful details. I hope their story inspires you as you plan your own special day.
