Bringing a garden-inspired wedding to life in downtown Chicago
“Michaela did a phenomenal job on the florals for our wedding! She was very professional, organized, and made the floral planning process a breeze for us. Our flowers looked so beautiful and even better than what we had envisioned! Michaela is super talented and we highly recommend her. Thank you so much Michaela!”
Laura | Bride
Welcome, friends!
Today, I’m thrilled to share the beautiful wedding of Laura & Rexly, a couple whose said their special “I do’s” at the one and only Ivy Room in Chicago. Their special day was a perfect blend of romance, elegance, and natural beauty, showcasing my favorite light and airy, garden-inspired designs.
I’ll remember this day for a long time and here’s why…
The Tried & True Color Palette
Laura & Rexly chose a subtle blush, white, and green color palette, featuring two of my favorite blooms: quicksand roses and white majolica spray roses. These flowers added a soft, romantic touch that perfectly complemented the lush greenery we used throughout the day.
The Ceremony
Their ceremony took place in the picturesque courtyard of The Ivy Room. One of my favorite elements was the lush floral installation on our dark walnut arch, creating a stunning backdrop for their vows.
Bridal Party Looks that Slayed
The bridesmaids looked stunning in neutral champagne-colored dresses paired with classic black suits. This sophisticated ensemble was the perfect match for the soft blush and white florals, creating a cohesive and elegant look for the bridal party. I’m such a sucker for this look & I truly can’t get enough of it!
