Three shoots in one day full of whimsical & romantic, modern & minimalist, and luxurious & classic details

I have been an admirer of Becoming Designs Events (aka Lexi & Shelby) for a bit and it has been a dream of mine to work with them! When they reached out about a content day at The Stockhouse in downtown Chicago, I was on CLOUD 9. Lexi and Shelby are truly some of the best people I’ve ever met in the industry. They are crazy talented and have an incredible eye for design. But they are also some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. We had so much fun that day, but beyond that, they left me feeling so encouraged and uplifted.

When we first connected to talk through the design and floral details we discussed their vision for 3 separate design looks – all with their own focal floral element:

Whimsical & Romantic: a lush sweetheart table

Modern & Minimalist: a hanging floral chandelier

Luxurious & Classic: a floral floor arch

These items, paired with auxiliary bud vases, compote arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres, floor arrangements created the base for Lexi and Shelby to add their high-end styling touches.

But let’s talk about the photos for a second… When they said they were working with Sara Myers Photography, I quickly gave her a quick google. Within the first 3 seconds of landing on her website, I just knew I wanted to work with Sara and meet her in person.
