Dreamy, peach and blue styled shoot featuring Chicago-skyline views from the rooftop of The Ambassador Hotel

I first met Chantal of Chantal Pryor Photography at The Bespoke Workshop that I had the pleasure of flowering for last fall. When she reached out about a shoot in the city with an all-star group of vendors, it was an easy and quick yes! I loved her editing style and was extra excited about the peachy, pink and dusty blue color palette she was imagining. I asked her if she would be comfortable doing a shoot with NO greenery at all and when she gave me the green light, I ran with it!

This was a FUN flower project that allowed me to get out of the “traditional” box of greenery and roses – although I LOVE some greenery and roses, spraying all the greenery and filler BLUE was an opportunity I just couldn’t pass up!

When we arrived on-site, we were met with some fierce wind off the lakeshore – actually, the arbor we set up fell down multiple times (insert face palm emoji!) but the wind calmed down and (we found some weights!) just in time for some GORGEOUS sunset photos atop the Ambassador Hotel! It was seriously DREAMY!

We enjoyed a ceremony set up and even an intimate reception set up. My favorite part? (Besides the flowers, of course!) The cocktails that featured cotton candy from The Pixie Cart! I mean, how amazing is that!? Followed in a close second, were the beautiful views from the rooftop of the Amassador Hotel! We loved being there so much, Joe and I booked a stay-cation there just a few weeks following the styled shoot!

All of the vendors were incredible to work with and I’m so incredibly overjoyed to share these inspiration photos with you! Be sure to check out the full list of vendors and their contact info at the bottom of the post!
