A Chic and Classic Celebration at Providence Vineyard featuring a black and white color palette with all-rose bouquets
Hey floral friends,
I had the immense pleasure of working with Elizabeth and Tyler on their beautiful wedding day, and today I’m thrilled to share all the details with you! Their celebration was everything you could dream of—timeless, classic, and set right on the water. If you’re planning a wedding in the Chicago or Lake Geneva area, I hope this blog post fills you with inspiration and helpful tips!
I absolutely adored this day & here’s why…
Getting Ready and Photos on Lake Geneva
Elizabeth and Tyler chose to get ready and take their pre-ceremony photos on the serene shores of Lake Geneva. The peaceful water, combined with the morning light, created the perfect backdrop for their special moments. If you’re considering a similar setting, I highly recommend scheduling ample time for photos by the lake—it’s worth it for the breathtaking scenery!
The Reception at Providence Vineyard
The reception at Providence Vineyard was a dream come true. The venue’s elegant and spacious setting allowed us to create a romantic atmosphere that perfectly complemented Elizabeth and Tyler’s vision. We adorned the space with white florals and greenery, blending them seamlessly with gold pillar candle holders. One of my favorite elements was the baby’s breath installation climbing up the grand staircase—it added a statement piece that greeted the guests as they arrived.
Florals: Timeless White Roses
For Elizabeth and her bridesmaids, we crafted bouquets of all-white roses with elongated stems. This choice was both timeless and classic, aligning beautifully with the overall theme of the day. If you’re seeking a look that exudes elegance and simplicity, white roses are always a fabulous option.
Stylish Black Bridesmaid Dresses
Elizabeth’s bridesmaids looked stunning in black dresses, a choice that added a chic and sophisticated contrast to the wedding’s light and airy aesthetic. Don’t be afraid to opt for darker tones for your bridal party—it can really make your florals pop and add a touch of modernity to the day.

- Prioritize Photo Locations: Beautiful spots like Lake Geneva can elevate your wedding album and provide unforgettable memories.
- Mix and Match Textures: Combining different floral textures, such as roses with baby’s breath, adds depth and interest to your decor.
