Regardless of if you are a florist wondering what to charge in this current market OR a couple planning their wedding and trying to decide how much to allocate toward their floral budget, stepping into the world of flower pricing can be intimidating. Maybe you’re starting to experience some of that bad information out there and are feeling defeated on what to expect.
That’s why I’ve created a cheat sheet for you to help you stick your toes in the water of flower pricing. A healthy floral budget will depend on how much of a priority floral and design elements are to you….BUT here is a general guide I share with my clients for our current market. What do flowers actually cost for a wedding? Here’s my exact breakdown:
OVERALL INVESTMENT:
$5-6K: INTIMATE DESIGN: Personal + Wedding Party flowers, petite centerpieces
$6-8K: DAINTY DESIGN: Personal + Wedding Party flowers, petite to moderate centerpieces, small ceremony florals
$8-12K: FULL FLORAL DESIGN: Personal + Wedding Party flowers, moderate to abundant centerpieces & rental items, ceremony florals, & focal installation
$12+K: ABUNDANT FLORAL DESIGN: Personal + Wedding Party flowers, abundant centerpieces & rental items, ceremony florals, multiple focal installations/ statement pieces
INDIVIDUAL ITEMS:
Bridal Bouquet: $250-$300
Bridesmaids Bouquet: $120-$150
Corsage: $35
Boutonniere: $16-19
Low Arrangements: $95-$135 +Rental Items
Bud Vase Clusters: $30-$50 + Rental Items
